Marie Watson (Head Nurse)
I am a GDC registered Dental Nurse and have worked at Daventry Dental Practice since March 2005. After passing the NVQ level 3 in Oral Health and Dental Nursing I have gone on to pass a post qualification certificate in radiography. I am currently doing an Oral Hygiene Educators course and am enrolled onto a sedation course in 2010. I enjoy all fields of dentistry but my special interests are surgery and implants. As an ex service personnel and a mother of two I have gained many life experiences that have helped me in this field of work. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and animals, reading, the arts, exercising and fund raising.
Emily Legg (Wellingborough)
I have been working as a dental nurse at the practice since May 2008; I am currently finishing my NVQ level 3. My hobbies include; cycling, swimming, and other outdoor activities, includiing spending my weekends travelling around the country. I also enjoy various motorsports, going out for meals and cinema with my friends.
Poppy Dunton (Wellingborough)
I began work at the practice in October 2006, following work experience. I qualified as a dental nurse in January 2009. The practice has allowed me to enjoy a variety of dentistry, however over the last year I have focused on Dental Implants, and completed two courses run by Astratech dental in implant nursing and patient co-ordination. However I am leaving the practice in September to continue my career in Dentistry at Cardiff University Hospital to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, regularly going to the gym, attending the theatre and taking long walks.
Jeny Batley (Wellingborough)
I began working at the practice in January 2008 and have since started my dental nurse training which I am hoping to of completed in the autumn. I enjoy working here as everyone is very friendly and the work is enjoyable. My hobbies out of work include netball - currently playing for a cup. Seeing my friends and going out for the night into town. I am also a shopaholic. Once I have qualified as a dental nurse, I hope to pass my radiography and to then further my knowledge in Dental Orthodontics.

I have been nursing at the paractice for 12 years now the last 3 being with Oradi dental. I work part time supporting dentist Gill Thompson. I live in Wellingborough and i am married with 2 children. In my spare time i enjoy going to the gym, walking and meeting with friends to go shopping and evenings out.

Tina Fitzhugh (Daventry)
I am an experienced nurse and have recently passed my VRQ Dental Nursing Exam and am currently working towards passing my NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing. I would them like to train for my dental radiography certificate. My hobbies include; - Reading and watching films and socialising, I also work with a Falconer some weekends.
Nicola Robinson (Daventry)
I started working as a Dental Nurse in 2006 and have achieved my NVQ Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing in November 2008. I am registered with the GDC and am currently undertaking a course in Radiography. My interests outside dentistry include; cycling, music and travelling. Recent travels have taken me to Japan, where I spent two weeks travelling from Tokyo to Hiroshima (and back again!). I have also travelled to Australia, New Zealand, India and Thailand. I enjoy working at the practice and hope to develop my skills further in the next few years.
Charlotte Adams (Daventry)
After gaining a national diploma in child care, I decided that working with children and the public was the career for me. I Joined the Oradi Dental Group in 2005 as both a dental nurse and receptionist. I became a fully qualified dental nurse in March 2008 after gaining my NVQ level 3 in oral health. I have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and have attended a course in London which has given me great confidence in assisting complex ‘smile makeover’ treatments. I am also an orthodontic nurse at the practice which gives me the opportunity to work more with children. My nursing skills have extended to being able to take radiographs and impressions.
Jemma Brooks (Daventry)
I am a qualified dental nurse and have worked at Daventry Dental Practice since March 2008. I have passed the NVQ level 3 in Oral Health and Dental Nursing qualification as well as a post qualification in Radiography. I have also achieved NVQ level 3 in Customer Service and NVQ level 2 in Administration as well as A levels. I am registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and a member for the British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN). During work I have a special interest in Invisalign and cosmetic work. Outside of work I enjoy gardening, going to the gym, playing golf and looking after my pets.
Dee Old (Daventry)
I joined Daventry Dental Practice in February ’08 as a qualified dental nurse having gained my National Certificate for Dental Nurses in 1987 and am a member of the British Association for Dental Nurses. I qualified in Dental Radiography in 1998 enabling me to take x-rays and am also competent in taking impressions. I have varied nursing skills from hospital to general practice & find I enjoy working with very anxious patients the most, as I can relate to them & offer genuine, caring compassion to ease their experience. In my spare time I enjoy riding fast motorbikes, going to the gym, reading, socialising & spending time with my partner & 2 cats.
Katherine Blackmore-Thomas (Daventry)
I am a GDC registered Dental Nurse and have worked with Daventry Dental Practice since October 2005. I passed the NVQ Level 3 in Oral Health. I’m focusing on doing my radiography in the new year. As well as being a dental nurse I also work with the orthodontist. I do enjoy all aspects of dentistry and look forward to expanding my knowledge. Outside of work I enjoying meeting up with friends, reading and spending time with my family.

I have only just recently joined the Oradi Dental Group and thoroughly enjoy my job. Since leaving school I completed a two year course in Business studies which I enjoyed but did not fulfil my aspiration to work with the public. After joining the team here at Daventry I have enrolled onto an NVQ Level 3 course in Oral Health and Dental Nursing which I am due to start in February 2010. In my spare time I like to socialise with friends and family. I also enjoy all different styles of dance and have been a member of my dance school for the past sixteen years.
