Inlays & Onlays

Recommended for larger cavities where a filling may not be suitable, an inlay or onlay is used to repair the tooth’s biting surface and is generally made from belleglass which is a very strong, natural looking and long lasting porcelain material.

Inlays/ onlays can also be made gold or a composite resin (plastic filling) which is bonded to the damage area of the tooth. Often a porcelain material is used because it matches the colour of your teeth.
