Invisalign Teen™ really works. In the past, traditional braces were typically used to treat those conditions. Now Invisalign Teen™ can treat them using its advanced technology. It helps correct a broad range of dental and orthodontic issues. You can get a confident smile without metal bands, brackets, or wires.

  • More reasons to smile. Because Invisalign Teen™ aligners are virtually invisible, you can smile all you want. Most likely, the only way people will know about your treatment is if you choose to tell them.
  • Healthier pearly whites? Unlike with metal braces, you can brush and floss your teeth normally with Invisalign Teen™. That means fresh breath, as well as less chance of plaque, decay, and gum disease.
  • Less bother. There’s no metal wires or brackets to poke, or tear your mouth and gums. Invisalign Teen™ aligners are made of smooth plastic that custom-fit your teeth.
  • An average treatment takes about a year.
  • You’re still changing so we did too. Different than regular Invisalign aligners, Invisalign Teen™ aligners allow for growing adult molars.
  • The Blue Dot Wear Indicator provides an estimation of wear-time. The dot is designed to fade to clear over a two-week period if you wear your aligners properly. You should wear them 20 to 22 hours everyday.
  • Don’t worry. If you lose an aligner, we give up to six free, individual ones.

How does Invisalign Teen™ work?

  • Based on our diagnosis, a series of aligners are custom made in a laboratory using advanced 3D computer imaging technology.
  • Each Invisalign Teen™ aligner is worn for 2 weeks, removing them only to eat drink, brush and floss.
  • As each Invisalign Teen™ aligner is replaced, gradual movement of the teeth occur resulting in a straighter smile.
  • You will need to visit us every 4-6 weeks so that we can ensure all necessary movements are occurring.
  • On average Invisalign Teen™ treatment lasts 6 to 15 months.

What do Invisalign Teen™ aligners look like?

Aligners are clear and look similar to tooth-whitening trays, but are custom-made for a better fit to move teeth. Some orthodontists and dentists have referred to them as “contact lenses for teeth.”

How does Invisalign Teen™ effectively move teeth?

Like brackets and arch wires are to braces, Invisalign Teen™ aligners move teeth through the appropriate placement of controlled force on the teeth. The principal difference is that Invisalign Teen™ not only controls forces, but also controls the timing of the force application. At each stage, only certain teeth are allowed to move, and these movements are determined by the orthodontic treatment plan for that particular stage. This results in an efficient force delivery system.
